Shimano 105 R7000 11-speed rim brake groupset
Was £599.99, now £339.99 – save 43%
Shimano 105 is the go-to groupset for riders who want the key features of Dura-Ace and Ultegra, but at a more real-world price.
Since the pandemic caused a component drought, meaningful discounts on groupsets have been hard to come by. This is the cheapest 105 groupset we’ve seen in literally years. Don’t hang about if you want one.

Tifosi HG 12-speed cassette
Was £79.99, now £29.99 – save 62%
With the big three groupset manufacturers now all offering 12-speed options, the aftermarket is catching on. Tifosi makes Shimano/SRAM-compatible cassettes, a useful affordable alternative in a world of largely brand-specific systems.
The steel HG cassette can be used on road, gravel and mountain bikes, and is currently over 60% off.

Continental GP5000 clincher tyre
From the most popular cycling tyre dynasty of all time, Continental’s GP5000 is pretty much the ideal all-around tyre doing that tough task of perfectly mixing puncture protection, rolling resistance, grip and durability in a product that can genuinely be used 365 days a year.
Note these are the clincher version, not their tubeless siblings.

Shimano 105 R7000 carbon road pedals
Was £124.99, now £73.99 – save 41%
Many of the products you’ll find on this list are luxuries, but pedals are a necessity, and these are good pedals with a good saving.
We don’t need to sell the benefits of Shimano pedals, if you use SPL-SL then you know what you’re getting in terms of setup and feel, the only bit of info you might need is the 105s weigh a claimed 285g for a pair.

WTB Riddler TCS Fast tyres 700 x 45mm
Was £44.99, now £16.99 – save 62%
Are your gravel tyres on the brink of exhaustion but cost is stopping you buying some new rubber? The WTB Riddler TCS Fast tyres are currently more than 60% off in 700 x 45mm, a price that is pretty hard to argue with.
Though they are designed for gravel, WTB says they can also handle cyclocross courses and, with Dual DNA rubber compounds, the tyres aim to strike a good balance of durability, grip and speed.

Bikes
Bike-Room ex-team bikes
We often talk about trickle-down technology in the cycling industry in a metaphorical sense but you can actually get your hands on some former pro kit at Bike-Room. Based in Milan, Bike-Room receives team-owned bikes from the previous season, and inspects and verifies them ready for resale.
Given that second-hand bikes are a great way to save money but can be hit-and-miss in quality, Bike-Room aims to remove that uncertainty and help riders get pro-level kit at great value-for-money.
The workshop receives bikes from a different team every two weeks, with two rounds of bikes uploaded to the website each month, including offers such as 55% off a Lotto Soudal Ridley Helium or 53% off a Team DSM Scott Plasma.

Wilier Gardo Ultegra road bike 2023

It’s not often you get current models at such a discount, but this 2023 Wilier Garda is almost 40% at Merlin Cycles. It’s pitched as an entry-level carbon road bike but that doesn’t mean it skimps on the quality componentry. The Garda comes with a full Ultegra 11-speed groupset, with hydraulic disc brakes and integrated handlebars.
The Garda also has tyre clearance for up to 32mm, so could make a great year-round bike from speedy summer rides to wetter winter weather.
Pinnacle Laterite 1 road bike
If you’re after a beginner road bike or just an everyday runaround, the Pinnacle Laterite 1 could be the bike. It has the option to fit mudguards or stick some chunky 32mm tyres on, and at £349 could be a great option for a new bike on a budget.

The Topstone is fitted with 44mm Vittoria Mezcal III tyres and DT Swiss G540 rims, as well as a Fizik Aliante Delta saddle and Cannondale SmartSense lights for added versatility.
