The 2023 Tour de France Femmes kicks off in the city of Clermont-Ferrand on Sunday 23rd July, the same day the men’s Tour finishes over 400km away in Paris.
Over eight stages the women’s peloton will cover a total of just over 1,000km. The queen stage is set for the penultimate day of riding with an explosive finish atop the iconic Col du Tourmalet and the Tour will finish in Pau with a 22km time-trial.
The Tour de France Femmes will be broadcast in 170 countries across Europe, the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and North Africa – excluding China, Japan and New Zealand – by Discovery Sports on its Eurosport TV channel as well as GCN+ and Discovery+ streaming services.
GCN+ costs £6.99 paid monthly, or £39.99 per year; Discovery+ and Eurosport Player are now the same service and cost £6.99 per month or £59.99 per year for sports and entertainment (for fans of shows like Wheeler Dealers and Meatball Molly).
Streaming coverage via GCN+ will be available in select territories worldwide but not Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA. Double-check territory restrictions if you’re watching elsewhere to avoid disappointment.
If you don’t have a Eurosport, GCN+ or Discovery+ subscription, British team Lifeplus-Wahoo are giving away 10,000 eight-day passes to GCN+ so you can watch every stage for free. Sign up at lifepluswahoo.com/embraceeverymoment and the first 10,000 will be sent a code. Please note this is only for those based in the UK.
